I once worked in Kyoto, creating batik-dyed designs for kimonos. Forty years have passed since then.

 

Now I live in the IKTT village, using only colors from the forest and natural dyes. I dye about ten pieces of fabric a year, most of which have already left my hands.
 

The few that remain with me still carry the memories and passion from the time they were made.
